Quality Taiwan teas are available in bulk, tea bages, or in gift containers, at prices
ranging from incredibly low to astonishingly high. Taiwan's three main types of tea are
Black, Green, and Oolong, each processed in a different manner, with prices determined
by the different grades and varieties.
Most tea stores in larger cities have at least one clerk who speaks some English.
After you select some types which appeal to your sense of smell, you can sample them
there in the store, and then purchase the one(s) you like best.
In addition to tea, many shops sell attractive gift packs of traditional tea sets and
accessories which make perfect gifts or souvenirs. Some larger shops will even show
you the steps of the traditional tea ceremony while you sample the teas.
