5. Fuhsing Temple
¡@This is a third-grade historic site of Mingchien township that was built during the Chiaching reign (A.D. 1796-1821) of the Ching dynasty and is devoted to the Third Holy Mother (Matsu, or Goddess of the Sea). With distinctive stone pillars that exhibit a rich aura of the past, this temple is not to be missed by visitors in the vicinity.

6. Green Tunnel
¡@The "green tunnel" begins after about a five-minute drive from Mingchien along Provincial Highway 16 in the direction of Chichi. Here, for a distance of 4.5 kilometers, camphor trees rise in a row on each side of the road, their branches spreading over the road and joining in the middle to form a natural, green, arch-shaped "tunnel." Walking down the road in the cool shade of this leafy "tunnel" lightens the spirit and imparts a feeling of having left the world of care behind.

7. Tienhsing Kiln
